Freedom Writers Movie Story Synopsis

This Bio-Teen Drama, based upon the experiences of Erin Gruwell and her pupils, was released on January 12th 2007, filmed in Los Angeles, directed by Richard LaGravenese and stars Scott Glenn, Mario, Robert Wisdom, Hilary Swank, Imelda Staunton. By giving her pupils respect teacher Erin Gruwel can lead her class to a more meaningful life instead of fighting the war of the streets. By listening to her pupils and letting them write down their own experiences they can change their negative way of life.
